The first tenement houses on the market square were made of wood, only in the 15th century, 100 years later, they were built of bricks and stone. Initially, they were single-story buildings, and subsequent floors were built later. The arcades of Przemyśl tenement houses were used by merchants for commercial purposes, who placed their goods on the stalls under the arcades. What is interesting and original is the fact that the Market Square in Przemyśl is not located on flat, but on sloping terrain and is additionally paved. The former Town Hall from the 16th century was demolished, and today the function of the town hall is served by the former town house at No. 1. A great attraction in the Market Square in Przemyśl is the Bear Monument, or as some say, the Teddy Bear, which is the symbol of the city. A bear statue stands in the center of the fountain. This is a favorite place for tourists, where every visitor must take a souvenir photo. This bear is invariably included in the coat of arms of Przemyśl. There is also an interesting monument to Wojak Švejk near the bear.

The castle was built after 1340 by King Casimir the Great on the Castle Hill towering over the city, on the site of an older stronghold. The castle courtyard displays relics of the rotunda and palatium - buildings from the reign of Bolesław the Brave. The castle was thoroughly rebuilt in the 16th century in the Renaissance style and houses, among others, theater hall of the Dramatic Society. Aleksander Fredro - the oldest amateur theater in Poland. In the vicinity of the castle, it is worth visiting the beautifully situated Castle Park, which dates back to 1842.

Przemyśl is the Polish capital of pipe and bell founding. Przemyśl pipes are known all over the world, and the bells ring on all continents. The only Museum of Bells and Pipes in Poland is located in the Przemyśl Clock Tower.

It is one of Poland's valuable natural and cultural monuments, fulfilling various functions as a natural, cultural, educational and scientific facility. Originally created in the area of ​​a historic manor and garden complex, where the painter Piotr Michałowski lived and worked in the mid-19th century. The Arboretum was established in 1975.

One of the highest points in the city is the Tatar Mound, which rises at an altitude of 352 m above sea level. The oldest legend speaks of the abolition in the first half of the 19th century. 16th century Tatar camp, where the khan died during the fighting. At the place of the khan's death, according to Eastern customs, a mound - a monument - was built.

A trip to Przemyśl and using the chairlift and the year-round toboggan run are definitely a good idea for a weekend. We leave the car in the parking lot at ul. Sanocka, we go up by cable car.
